Sweetwater Stems is a floral design studio, nestled among the trees just north of Austin on 3.5 acres of beautiful Texas land. We use nature as our source of inspiration, and we can often be found hiking outside in search of our next design element. Our designs are carefully created with love, excitement, and much thought. We pride ourselves on running a business with a strong foundation of honesty, respect, and integrity.

Corporate Floral Design Program
Do you wish your company’s environment was more inviting?  Would you like to add some pizzazz to your front desk?  Is your display area lacking interest?  Fresh floral designs provide an effortless and stylish way to enrich your environment and create a warm welcome for your clients, guests, and staff! 

Whether you’re looking for fresh floral at a restaurant, hotel, office, or salon – we will make sure your needs are fulfilled.  We will personally visit your location to study the space and determine your needs and preferred style of design.  We can create the perfect arrangements for you to “wow” your clients and guests while making an unforgettable first impression.  Each arrangement is designed in our studio from fresh cut flowers.  Containers are exchanged during each delivery so that the transition between designs can be simple and seamless. 

Whether you require floral designs on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, we are happy to accommodate your schedule.  We will work closely with you to customize a delivery program to suit your specific requirements.  A minimum investment of $125 per month is required, in addition to a minimum six-month commitment.

Also, Sweetwater Stems will offer a one-time 25% discount to each corporate client for every additional referral that enrolls in the Corporate Floral Design Program.




Residential Floral Design Program
If you desire a custom-designed floral plan for your home, we offer an upscale program that will suit your needs perfectly!  This program includes a complimentary in-home consultation to assess your space and determine your design aesthetic.  A minimum investment of $100 per month is required, in addition to a minimum six-month commitment.




Home Holiday Decor
Does the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping leave you with little to no time for decorating?  How would you like to sit back, relax, and sip on some egg nog while someone else takes care of making sure your home looks beautiful for the holidays?

Our designers have the skills and expertise necessary to creatively adorn your home with the decorations of your choice.  From the tree, to the staircase, to the mantel and front door - we do it all!  We have a broad and unique selection of fresh greenery, garlands, wreaths, and poinsettias that are sure to add that special touch to your space.


About the Owner

It is undeniable that Sweetwater Stems was meant to be.  

I have always had an entrepreneur's spirit and have constantly sought opportunities to run my own business.  Whether it was selling my babysitting services as a kid, notes for class tests in high school, or baked goods...I have always been up to something!  Pair this with my passion for floral design, and you have Sweetwater Stems.

While attending Texas A&M University, I was able to learn from and work with the famous James Johnson, lovingly known as "Mr. J".  I participated in two student design competitions at the American Institute of Floral Designers Symposiums, and I placed in the top 10 for the Bridal Bouquet category out of competitors from all over the country! 

After graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture and a minor in Business, I worked as a designer for several florists.  I also held a position as a Wedding and Event Coordinator for a large catering company.  This gave me the opportunity to gain experience in the wedding and event industry, learn an array of design techniques, observe what really occurs behind the scenes, and see first-hand how a business operates.  I bounced around for about 5 years between companies, and while it was fun, exciting, crazy, and stressful at times...my love for flowers never faded.  

I was born to design flowers.  

I see the world differently than most, through a set of creative lenses.  Growing up in state parks all over Texas gave me an innate appreciation for nature, and outdoors is where I find my peace and inspiration.  What someone may see as a dead tree limb in the middle of the road, I see as the next design element in a centerpiece.  

My designs are created with love, excitement, and much thought.  I pride myself on running a business with a strong foundation of honesty, respect, and integrity.  Whether it's a small country wedding on a sprawling ranch or a lavish event in a ballroom, you will not be disappointed!

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book my wedding florist? 
     The sooner the better!  The standard time frame is approximately 4-6 months.
What should I bring to my consultation? 
     Please bring pictures, magazine clippings, or have your Pinterest board ready.  Also, feel free to bring any color swatches from wedding attire that you may have or special items you would like incorporated into your flowers.
What should I expect after our initial consultation?
     Within one week, you will receive an all-inclusive estimate along with a custom set of design sketches!
What is your payment schedule? 
     Payments can be made in cash, check, or by credit card.  A non-refundable deposit of 1/3 the total contract amount is required for confirmation of your wedding date.  A final consultation will be scheduled approximately 30 days before your wedding date, and your remaining balance must be paid by that time. We try to keep our prices low so you don't have to hit a jackpot at online casino slots to afford our services and we are always open to negotiate and accept all the different kinds of payments.
How much do you charge for consultations? 
     Your initial and final consultation are complimentary.  Any meetings or site visits scheduled between the first and last consultation will be added on to your final invoice and charged based on the distance from our studio as well as the amount of time spent.
